As the season comes down to the final stretch, only one Chatham County team continues to position itself for the postseason.
Any hopes for Seaforth (2-5, 2-3) to make the playoffs were dampened Friday in a 7-48 loss to North Moore. The Hawks were no match for the Mustangs’ run-pass option which ran for 422 rushing yards.
Jordan-Matthews (1-6, 1-4), which sits second to last in the Mid-Carolina 1A/2A conference standings, had a bye.
Here are the other football stats and scores around the county.
Northwood 70 – Graham 12
