On November 2, 2018, Bobby Lee Coley passed away at the age of 83, at Cross Road Retirement Community in Asheboro, NC.
After 48 years as a truck driver Bob retired at the age of 76.  Bob was a member of Balfour Baptist Church.
Those who have gone on before him are his parents, Lee and Mildred T. Coley and a brother, J. Leslie Coley.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Virginia W. Coley; a daughter, Jan Coley Sweeney (Caleb); a son, B. Lynn Coley (Joan); grandchildren, Mikalla R. Goodman, Scott Johnson (Kassi), Danielle Mehaffey (Sean), and Chris Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Reagan Johnson, Harper, Landon and Savannah Mehaffey, and Emily Johnson; sisters, Velma Rogers, Connie Hickman (Tommy); and brother, Glenn Coley (Catherine).
It’s hard to imagine a world without Bob, and while he may no longer be around to brighten our day, we will carry his memory in our hearts forever.
Bob’s family will forever be grateful to Brenda, Donnie, and Mary for the loving care given to him during his illness.
The family received friends on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 3 to 4 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.  A celebration of Bob’s life followed on Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Mason and Rev. Michael Barrett officiating.
A private entombment was held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at Guilford Memorial Park.
