Ms. Powell was born August 27, 1959, the daughter of Harold W. and Clara Griffin. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Deborah and Lamar Griffin, and a son, Michael William Powell.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Hildreth of Siler City; sisters, Virginia Carnegie of Pittsboro, Sila Argyle and husband Dale of Dryden, New York; brothers, Harold Griffin and wife Gloria of Manchester, New York, Randy Griffin and wife Robin of Baltimore, Maryland, and Steven Griffin and wife Deborah of Siler City.
Betty loved anything pink and sparkly.
