Author “Butch” Lee Willard, 70, of Cameron, passed away on Monday, (10-29-2018) at his home.
Funeral services were held Friday, (11-02-2018) at 2 p.m. at Grace Independent Baptist Church with Pastor Darrell Wood officiating. Burial followed in Good Shepard Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Willard was born in Yadkinville, on July 2, 1948, to the late Jessie Lee and Cleo Southard Willard. He worked installing vinyl siding.
Butch is survived by his wife, Linda Gregory Willard; daughters, Monica Altman of Angier, Cheryl Reneé Hall of Sanford; brothers, Barry Willard of West End, Roger Willard and Jesse Willard, both of Sanford, David Willard of Jonesville; sisters, Linda Hill, Annette Arnette, Wanda Gunter, all of Sanford, Patricia Porter of Hamptonville, Wilma Smith of Sanford, Alma Todd of Iowa; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
