Chatham Charter girls basketball’s Hannah Headen earns athlete of the week honors for the week of Dec. 4.
In the Knights’ close 59-57 win over Uwharrie Charter on Dec. 5, Headen put on an explosive 28-point performance in which she shot 41 percent from the floor and also grabbed five rebounds.
Headen has been on a tear in her freshman season, averaging 19.5 points per game as of Dec. 5.
