Arthur Lewis Davis, 90, of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday, (10-02-2018) at Westfield Rehabilitation and Health Center.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, (10-06-2018) at 11 a.m. at Tramway Baptist Church with Dr. John Allen and Travis Corley officiating. Burial followed in Buffalo Cemetery.
He was born in Gaston County on August 29, 1928 to the late Tommy Lee and Stella Moore Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Frances McCall. After serving in the US Army, Lewis owned and operated a golf cart sales and service company. He was a member of Tramway Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Agnes Hussey Davis; son, Joel Davis of Sanford; daughters, Debbie Johnson d and Angie Davis, both of Sanford; one grandchild, and two great-grandchildren.
