Silk Hope, N.C. –  Mrs. Ann Fogleman Clark, 77,  of Snow Camp, N.C. died peacefully Sunday evening at U.N.C. Hospice in Pittsboro surrounded by her family.
A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at the South Fork Friends Church in Snow Camp with Rev. Andrew Needham and his wife Mary presiding. The family received friends immediately afterward in the fellowship hall and at other times at her home.
Ann was born in Guilford County, N.C. in 1940, daughter of the late Thomas Clayton Fogleman and Winnie Obera Ferguson Fogleman. She owned and operated Crossroads Grill in Siler City for many years. She finished her work with Lindley Mills in Graham serving as a Lab Technician.
She loved going to church and served in many capacities, always willing to help. She loved to cook for family and friends and was a passionate U.N.C. Tarheels Fan as well as the Carolina Panthers. The greatest joy for Ann was watching her grandchildren’s involvement in any and all sports they played. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother.
She is survived by her three children, Jeff Clark and wife Stephanie, Laurie Branson and husband Ronnie, Chad Clark and wife Jennifer, all of Snow Camp; one brother, Wayne Fogleman of Liberty, N.C.; thirteen grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to South Fork Friends Church, c/o Andrew Needham, 359 S. Fork Bethel Road,  Snow Camp, N.C. 27349.
