AGNES ‘LIBBY’ HASH WILBORN

Agnes “Libby” Hash Wilborn, 93, of Siler City passed away surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Bear Creek, N.C.

Mrs. Wilborn was born July 13, 1927, a native of Person County, and the daughter of Willie Thomas and Rosa Belle King Smith. She was a member of the Brookdale Baptist Church. She loved to read and spend time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Jackson B. Hash and son, Curtis Wayne Hash.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Wilborn; daughters, Joyce Hash Elmore of Bear Creek, Linda Hash Meeks of Siler City; stepson, Michael Phillip Wilborn of Tennessee; sister, Glenda Leonard of Bennett; brothers, Ray Smith of Asheboro, Jerry Lee Smith of Pittsboro; six grandchildren, one step-grandson, 13 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and one great-great-step-grandchild.

The family received friends Sunday, December 20, 2020, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Brookdale Baptist Church. The funeral followed at 3 p.m. with Rev. Rob Roberts officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Siler City.
